I spend a lot of time thinking about the built environment, especially the ways in which people shape and move through it. I'm Japanese American with roots in️ Hiroshima. I was born just outside of Kansas City, raised in Vancouver, and am currently based in New York City.

My interests lie at the intersections of climate science, critical cartography, and spatial justice.

I completed a BS Hons. in Physics & Mathematics and an MA in Digital Media at UBC in 2017 and 2019 respectively. I am currently an MS in Urban Planning candidate at Columbia University.

I am also a GIS sustainability fellow at Bloomberg Associates and graduate research assistant with Dr. Anthony Vanky.
